The Yuri Days of Summer


Well folks, the best part of summer is just around the corner once again… Comiket!

That means it’s time for us to order and import more doujinshi. There are a lot of releases we are looking forward to, and more are likely to come that haven’t been previewed yet. First off, I would like to say THANK YOU! to everyone who has donated to us so far. Your generosity is very, very much appreciated and it has went a long way to ease the pain caused to both of our wallets. We would like to give everyone a preview of what we spent money on recently.

That said, Comiket82 is another big looming expense for us, so we are currently taking donations to help us out with all the costs of importing. It doesn’t have to be a lot of money, either, $5 or even $1 would be great. 100% of any money we receive will go straight to C82, where we plan on buying the latest and best yuri doujinshi available, which is what we’re all about.

In addition, we are also accepting recommendations on doujins to purchase. I can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to purchase everything suggested, but they will all be taken into consideration for our final order. You can browse through doujinshi at the following sites, though do be aware that some/much of these WON’T be yuri, it’s a long process going everything to pick out the ones that actually are:

Instructions: In the “ジャンル” field, input the name of the anime/manga series you want to search, in Japanese. For example, Yuru Yuri is ゆるゆり

Instructions: Put the name of the series you want (again, in Japanese) into the “フリーワード検索” search box up top. Have 同人誌 selected in the drop down box.

Alternatively, you can also search through Pixiv. Enter “C82” plus the name of the series you want to look for in the search box, and that should do the trick. However, not all of these are guaranteed to show up on Tora or Melon.

    • Yup, the new one from Momoya is already on our list of purchases, there’s no way we’re missing out on that. We actually do have that other one scanned in, we just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

  6. Ah, I had no idea you guys were looking for Himegoto Flowers. I’d have scanned my copy for you if I did. Alas.

    Didn’t know the same author made Himegoto Flowers 2, though. Excited to see that one.

  11. So there’s a couple of things that would encourage me to donate. First is if you were to make public the details of how much you receive in donations and how it was spent. Something like what Toady (dwarf fortress dev’) does by posting the numbers every three months.

    Secondly, needs more HomuMado. (although what you’ve pictured/released is awesome)
